  • How high do we need the antennas to clear?

• What is the free-space path loss?

  • First cut on what size of antennas and transmitter power output (TPO) needed.

• What is the predicted up-time of the path determined from frequency, EIRP, distance, weather, type of terrain, etc.

  • Final cut before field test of antennas and TPO.
